Isnt fn2r 4 seater? No holes for the middle rear seat lawl

LOL Thats so true. didnt even notice that. Dont thin insurance will be too happy about that.

Thats the reason why i cant change my front seats. My factory seats has airbags in it and if i take out the safety feature they'll complain.

Unless i get FN2R seats but too expensive

^ thats why you get the FN base model rear seats as they are a 3 seater rear.

as for the front seats, you will need to cut off your original bracket and weld it onto the FN seats as Duffy did for his FN seats and my Evo 7 seats.

the sensor, still lights up but bride has made an item that blocks off the light.

Yeah. But i dont want to get rid of the airbags unless i find another set with airbags in them. Cause if anything happens and i get into an accident. insurance wont cover me

all details in the ad

http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?174927-Civic-FD1-Tokico-HTS...

these HTS shocks are the top of the range from TOKICO and well supported by Lexus and MX5 owners, if your still running OEM shocks then these are a huge upgrade.

Whats a good Tyre size for a 17x9+38 rim? 215 or 225?
My fronts are going to be 215 but not sure if i should do the same for rears

I have 235/40/17 on the front that came with the rim. near new condition. Should i just put those on the rears and just get
two tyres for the front

Id say 215 to be safe. With a 225/235 u risk hitting ur shock or ur fuel lining. I was hitting mine with 17x9.5 +38

But the fronts are deffinately 215/45/17 right?

Question: Having the brake pads replaced by Honda during my major service. I noticed that the brake squealing is still occuring, is this normal? Is there some sort of "break-in" sort of thing??

It happens occassionally, but I thought being new pads and all, shouldn't happen?

Advice..! ty.

I had that problem when i bought the Car brand new from Honda.
I went back to them and they couldnt find any problems so there was nothing they could do about it.

So i went to a Brake Specialist and got them to Change Pads to Bendix Pads and Machine the Disk.
Solved the problem straight away.

So try telling Honda machine the disk for you.

Yep that will fit 100% presumed your guards are rolled and if you don't mind running that stretch.
225 WILL fit in the rear as well but you may encounter some scrubbing

Johnny i assume your not too low right cause of the 45 profile? When I started going really low (<10cm) i'd scrub heaps on the 45s.

I tried test fitting the rim with 255 tyres (215/40/17 Coming in tomorrow) but i can see the the Plastic protecting the Fuel Line is getting rubbed against.
I tried putting my fingers behind to see and the rim is EXTREMELY close to the plastic. If i remove the plastic for the Fuel Line Will it still be safe when my 215 tyres come? Im scared.... :(

How thick is the collar ? If its say 7mm thick and you remove it you will lower the car 14mm as the ratio is 2 to1. Thats cause the spring is halfway along the arm, for the front the ratio is 1to 1.

Here's a tip for keeping rotors unwarped.
When it's raining or wet on the roads, don't sit at a stop with your brake pedal down any heavier or longer than necessary. The hot pads on one side clamping down and the water cooling the rest of the rotor tends to accelerate warping.

I originally only had front sway bar with 11mm rear, i was running 225 wide front - Turn in incredibly quick compared to stock, rear was a bit slow to react in comparison (that 11mm lol).

With both front and rear cusco installed, easily the best fwd i've driven, DC2 what?

sort of ! lol There is alot to consider, but yeah as the sways help to reduce body roll, it should add front end grip

other things to consider include Spring rates, is the rear Sway upgraded, the amount of camber, etc

Mugen side skirts won't suit the front end, in my opinion, go for modulo or type r side skirts, even considered the J's racing grill? Its similar but with a triangle up top if I remember correctly.

Oh I saw that photo and just thought it was a Mugen grille. didnt know there was a difference LOL

By the way, I've been trying to install my rear camber arms to go lower in the rear since im rubbing. Problem is the bolts that attach the stock arms to the frame are really tough and I can't get it to loosen. Tried WD40 but it didnt help. Any tips? what tools did you guys use? Dont really wanna pay a shop 100 bucks to undo a few bolts.
