Bit of a noob question but I suppose that's why it's in the noob forum. Say you have springs on your Honda and you take it in for service, will Honda still carry out their routine checks etc, or is the warranty void? What modifications are covered in this event?

If you have lowered springs, the only thing void are the CV joints, damper and maybe suspension component warranty. If your engine blows, you still have warranty. If your A/C or CD fails, you still have warranty. But if you have a weird rattle, they might blame it on your lowered springs transferring in more bumps in to the cabin.

Generally they won't touch your modifications when you do servicing. But your car is still covered under the warranty if the problem was not caused from your modifications.

what the other 2 said. they will cover anything that u didnt modify. if ur modification damages other parts of the car, they they wont cover. also they usually cover the work they've done, ie, if they change something for u and it breaks, they cover that.
