hey everyone, i have a quick question
i get up to go to work at 6:15am so its absolutly freezing in the morning, so i go to my car and warm it up for 10 min or so... in the last few weeks after about 10 mins of warming up, i noticed that the revs fluctuate immensly for a solid 5-7 minutes, and then once i turn my car off for about 10 mins, then turn it on again, its fine....
it revs between 1000 - 1600rpm
yes i have looked for a vaccum leak, and could not come up with any, so i am wondering what else it might me???

any help is much appreciated
:?

You have not todl us any and all info to do with your ride.....
But as a basic rule - a car from cold start will always be rougher and higher as the car warms up - once the engine is warm ( usually signified by the temp dial) the car will run as per normal.
Many varibles will change how long ti takes to reach operating tempreture - such as engine age , oil viscocity , vac. leaks etc.

I just wouldnt worry about it too much mate - as long as is hasnt suddenly choosen to do this , AND it runs fine after this period of "warming up" - then there isnt really a problem.
