I know this topic has been posted before...but...
I'm close to getting an exhaust system for my DC5, got a quote for the FJ RM plus fitting for AUD 1350 and the Power Getter for AUD 1200? What do you guys think? Is it reasonable? Are there any other place in VIC where i can get slighty better pricing?
Cheers!

you can get them slightly cheaper from private importers, and save labour(fitting) costs by fitting it yourself, catbacks made for the car are pretty much bolt on (dc5r systems)

It's upto you it personal preference. All Jap exhaust will work well with the car, just depends how loud you want your exhaust to be.
Mugen = quiet unless WOT
Rm01A = slightly louder than mugen but once again nice under WOT
I personal have an RM01A at the moment and recommend it highly.
As for personal importers see the trader for sale section Z10 and Tangie are very weel priced

What are the gains of the trust peII as compared to the other mentioned brand? The reason i ask is that there has been some controversy regarding the inner diameter of the peII within the muffler itself :?:

What about the 5 Zigen Miracle? or Fireball? Anyone had any experience?
Does in the Thrust PEII have a direct bolt on system for the DC5?

The TRUST sytem adds 5kw accross the top end, @ the wheels on a DC5R with no other changes on a stock car.
(That was on the CAS dyno - sorry, can't find the sheet)
It's a direct bolt-on to the DC5R & with some minor changes...
(Approx 1.5hrs labour charge)
It can be fitted to the base model DC5
(The flange at the rear of the standard catalyst is a little different & it needs to be modified & an extra bend added.
Re Mugen twin loop...
Sorry, we don't stock this product...
Contact Z10 or Tanghy from JDM Yard.
They should be able to help you.

What's the question?
Same? Price, power, looks ?
Price... Yes... (Except for 1 DC2R PEII old stock item on sale - $900)
Power... Similar results & just as quiet.
Looks... Cool angled cannon rear muffler.
TODA AU Would the Trust PEII be suitable for a EM1?
Thanks.

speaking of exhaust...anyone here ever hear the spoon n1 in action?? is it loud?? like real loud or just mild?? and how does it perform on ur dc2??

I used to have a spoon N1 muffler on my EK4. Its was one of the best sounding exhausts I have had. Good power gains too. It was loud, but you could live with it.

yeah i know its loud...but my main concern are the cops... :? and im planning to get a spoon n1 so yeah...
ive heard spoon n1 with silencer on and its quiet... but would like to have it without the silencer but main concern is the "loudness" of it...
