My volume is going up and down wtf?

Lately i've noticed the volume from my speakrs has been going up and down or fading in and out if you like. But the thing is it only does it when i have the radio on, it doesn't do it when i play cd's.

This occurs on any radio station at any volume level and usually starts off ok then starts fading in and out after like 5-10 min or somtimes more it's a bit random. it goes back to normal for a few mins when i change station then starts doing it again.

My hu is a panasonic mp3-wma dot matrix display etc
typr r 12 inch sub running off crap low power audioline amp
oem speakers running off hu

This problem is annoying and very strange any idea's ppl??????

If its only with the tuner I would say its a reception (ie antenna) problem........or a problem with the tuner itself and its lack of ability to lock onto a station.

or some hu has a feature where it adjusts the volume according to the noise of the engine, ie. the more u rev, the louder the volume becomes. just a tot. :)
