is it made of fiberglass? does it come painted?

i live in adelaide but would be willing to buy from interstate.

Have you tried calling honda? I'm pretty sure they would still stock them, though you can always try ebay or one of the the other traders on here.
I had a brand new one, but sold it on Sunday... Got a VS kit available if your interested. :D

they should still sell them.

you can get OEM front lips for the EG from them still so an AP1 lip should be available.

just rang honda here in SA and they can order one in for approx. $700 (pre-painted). seems like alot of money to me. especially when copies are being made for $180 (un-painted). surely it would only cost $200 to paint???

hmmm.

it'd cost less then 200 to paint.

probably under 100

Paint and fitted would be around $250 + $200 for a replica

OEM lips from honda are ofcourse genuine. made for perfect fitment and installation. no hassles. they are plastic made. greater durability and strength over replica's. costs roughly 700dollars from a honda dealer. you can pm destrukshn from the forums for a quote as he can order you one from his workplace

replica's are made un painted. fitment is not 100% and can vary between polyurethane to fibreglass. prices obviously depends on material and where you get it from. 150-300 price mark for replica's.

IMO, i'd rather get replica... Original cost too much...

hmmmmm Ive never seen a plastic lip able to twist around itself, polyurethane can however.

Polyurethane is a type of plastic.

I'd never buy a fibreglass lip, but then not all replicahs are FRP.

I have an Amuse copy made from polyurethane (the original Amuse is FRP) and there was a group buy on S2ki recently for an OEM style copy made of poly.
