Need to install a gauge
and it needs 12v power

the instructions state to 'connect to a switched 10-18 volt power source utilizing a 10A fuse'

now i have the fuse setup, just wondering on a point to tap for the power in my EF8 Crx?

Plug it straight into the front of the fuse box with a female spade terminal attached,to one of the spare terminals there.

Should be about 5 spare terminals,1 or 2 of them will be switched on with ignition, keep changing the wire until u find which one is switched.

should i just use a 12v test light to verify if they work on ignition?
seems to be some weird wiring from them for a parker switch setup, are they normally all free?

Yep,those are the terminals.

U can use a test light if u have one,or just use trial & error as i said previously.

If i remember right ,one is a constant supply, one is an accessory switched supply, two are ignition switched supplies & the other is a light switch switched supply as u mentioned.

They are normally all free unless someone has hooked some other accessory up to them.

I did my gauge, buy pulling out a fuse, sticking the gauge wire in the fuse holder and then sticking the fuse back in there. The fust holds in the cable, so no soldering required.

thats bad if you got the hot side of the fuse.
