I've been eyeing the Mugen Oil sump and have been pondering how I can keep my prices down..

So I would like to remove the OEM sump and install the Mugen one myself...

Can any give me a guide and what I might need? Thank you

thats the tools.

instructions:
remove exhaust
remove sump nuts

You also need to remove 'Cover' underneath where the flywheel is. You need to remove this before you can access some of the sump bolts/nuts.

instructions:

Drain oil
remove exhaust (headers)
remove fly cover (covers bottom of flywheel)
remove sump nuts & bolts

Take care of you sump gasket. You may need a new one if it is perished.

When you put it back together do it in reverse order ^^^
Use some ultra blue sealent.
Be carefull not to over tighten and not to under tighten as some nuts may come loose and fall off. I belive there are cirtain torque settings to use?

I use Ultra Blue on my Sump and never any leaks even with blow by from a boosted setup.

Both Blue and Grey can be used for sumps and is endorsed from the maufactures:
