Gen3 crx seat belts = EG Civic seat belt????

Just wondering...

As my 1992 crx is very much based on the EG civic Im just wondering if the seat belt assembly is the same?
I need a new passenger side one as mine does not retract properly anymore :(
it will b alot easier to find an EG one than a crx one..... if they match :)

as long as the clip/buckle where you do it up is the same you should be ok (im pretty sure theyre all the same in eg's)

1996+ Needs SRS input for airbag. (Yellow wire) But can use the standard non-SRS. However this means there wont be any automatic tension applied if in an accident.

wouldn't that only be for the drivers side seat??? She needs to replace the passenger one.

I removed the the seats from my 96 del sol and it had a plug under the drivers seat but not the passenger seat. Is this what ur talkin about?

but yeah...my parents had a '94 eg civic sedan...i'm pretty sure the one they had had an srs air bag....cant remember if it was driver only or driver and passenger

Jason, yeah the seatbelt on drivers side is srs. Pretty sure cable underneath is to activate sensor for the srs system (ie airbag/seatbelt check & belt tensioner)
