Hay,
I recently fitted a full Toda exhaust system as well as a Gruppe-M to my Type S. I'm very interested in getting Kpro fitted and tuned. Now to my question,
Has any one with a Type S fitted Kpro? Were they any complications/problems? I'm located in Brisbane so any recommendations on people to tune would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

How does your car go now with full TODA exhaust system.
Have you done a DYNO RUN with it yet?

Car goes much better now, better mid-range and top end for sure. Its not to loud and sounds great. Haven't dynoed the car yet, but it will get a before after when i get kpro installed... not to sure on what figures it would be putting down though.
hey there, which part of brisbane are you from? I'm in brisbane too.
to get Kpro in the TypeS you will need to spend around $2600.
The TypeS ecu will need to be replaced by the older model Australian DC5 TypeR (K20a2) ecu, because the TypeS ecu is not compatible with Kpro
you also need a new o2 sensor, which ads up to the $2600
not as cheap or simple as getting kpro on the DC5 Type R but still can be done.

I've got one on my car and it's a great mod :)
Contact Vincent, that's where I got mine from.

Great thanks for that,
I work in West End and live in Springwood..
I will speak to Vincent as he sourced my Gruppe-M and was very helpful
Anyone recommend tuners in the area?

A new O2 sensor from Honda Australia has a retail cost of $385 A new 02-04 ECU costs $850 (as per the price pages on honda tech) or you can buy one second hand for $300 or so.
You will also require the 02-04 ECU modified to suit the Type S and also you will require a DC5r to DC5s Conversion harness, this costs $300

Its the same as the JDM DC5R Facelift - the ecu is not programmable.
so they have to do the same.
The our Type S is very similar to the Facelift R hondatech told me
