185/55 vs 195/50 in 15"

Quick question. any difference in form when they mounted in 15x7? thickness profile?

185/55 on 15" will b slightly larger than 195/50 on 15" in terms of overall diamater (wheel + tyres).

thinkness of the sidewall will b round about similar. tho if u're mounting 185 on 7" rims, u're stretching the tyres a little. ur ride will b slightly more bumpier.

do you know how much of a stretch they will be?
im trying to avoid lipping my guard.

im using 195 now, and its THICK! depends on tyres i guess.

yea depends on tyres, some brands have thinner/flatter sidewalls than others. try different brands.

oh well, gotta wait till tommorow, im trying 185/55 to fit over them. if they are thicker than the 195. ill go the 195 for sure.

on 15 x 7 you're better off getting 205/50/15

what offset are your wheels?

+25 personally i dont like chunky tyres.
