lol so there are no current people out there with EP3 as of yet ?
i know of one getting compliance done right now...should be ready in 2 weeks
When i went to check one out i had a few issues with it.
- Engine bay is cramped compared to dc5
- Recaros arent "buckety"
- Standard Black foot pedals rather than the usualy metal with rubber gromet type ones.

Yeah, EP3s were treated as daily drivers, so the interior has a lot of wear. The shift linkage is extra long in order to reach the high shifter location. Also, that is the reason why it doesn't feel tight. The long linkages means that the shifter bushings have to be softer so that there is some tolerance to avoid slight misalignment. That makes the shifter feel looser than the B series box.

If those in Sydney saw the one at Edward's then there is a chance the compliance will take a while. Hence no one in Sydney has one to own and drive as yet, not sure why Sydney is so delayed compared to other states as I have been told.
As mentioned, the EP3 Recaro's are not tight like the EK9's due to the fact these were designed in Europe (ie. UK) to fit 'big' people. And so for the Japanese market, they just used the UK Recaro design.
The engine bay (also as mentioned) is tight and compact compared to the DC5 but then again it (EP3 engine bay) is tight like the Jazz's engine bay.
It also has the "Type-R" word mechanically engraved on the brake calipers just like the new mainstream CTR.
I think I would still prefer the EP3 than the new CTR. :)
