Smoked taillights/Angel projectors

I have a 95 DC2 and really want these two aesthetics for my car...but no idea how to apply/obtain them. Any help?

Smoked Taillights:
DIY = buy a can of "Night Shades" from SupearCheap (around $20).
1. take tails out of car, wipe with clean cloth with abit of meth.
2. use maskin tape to tape off the edges and stick some newspaper all around.
3. put tails on newspaper (do 1 at a time), apply around 2 coates stroking from left to right
4. sun dry
5. apply more coates if desired

these seem to be credible, but wouldn't it be a problem that the drive light is on the wrong side? being american?

Joeyboy, the guide you have given me on DIY 'smoking' seems very easy, but I'm sure one way or another I will stuff it up! So I'm going to go with buying some vinyls off ebay:

btw...how visible are the lights through the 'smoke screen' anyway? It's legal right?

Correct me if im wrong, but they are illigal if you tint them Prob depends on what kind of mood the police are in if they pull you over.

If you do this method, i would recommend you clear them once dried, it makes it look shiny and not dry :D

yes tinted rear lights are illegal ... and really ... it would looks like something when I had my first car in 1990! don't do it! but angel eyes are nice :)

depends on the color code you have for your car, what colour is your car?

visibility depends on how many coates. mine's got 3 coates and visibility is not a problem. its not legal (as it is taking visibility off your rear lights) - however really depends on how dark it is and what mood the cop is in. i got pulled over by the cops twice last year for having blue park lights, but they had a look all around the car including the tails and didnt say anything. both were tailing me for at least 5 mins.

as long as its not TOO dark, then u should be right. :D

i've been driving with angel eyes projectors for 2 years, and the past 6 months with HIDs too...never got any problems with cops, even though u can actually see the cut-off point is actually going to the right;)
