accord 0-100 times

hey all, got a stop watch and timed my car 0-100. I started the watch at the same time i released the clutch.


I have deliberatly posted in the accord section as this is only accord related. Anywho,

I did a couple of runs early last night while raining and best time was 7 sec flat. I couldnt get much power down at all in 1st or 2nd.

Did a couple more runs late last night in the dry and still couldnt get the wheels to stop spinning in 1st gear and best time was a 6.7

Im running 80 buck 195/60/15 with stocko suspension.

Try dropping your tyre pressure....make sure you put it back to normal afterwards though!

Don't think hand held stop watch is all that accurate..........could be upto 1 second off IMO

in regards to being inaccurate, it probly is, the freaky thing is that i did 4 launches in the wet ( damp road) to 100 and each time was 7 sec flat. 3 launches in the dry and the times were 6.8, 6.7 and 6.8 If the watch was so innacurate why were the times so consistant?


Spoon accord says his h22a does the 0-100 waaay faster than mine and his was done with a stop watch too.

Is there any other cheap alternative to testing with a stop watch?

Borrow a friend's G-Tech meter. I always thought they would be good to buy if you had >5 people chipping in. Not like you need it all the time anyway...

gtec=get from ebay dont pay 300+bullsh8t dollars on it LOL, spend about 100 or maybe a bit more, they are fun to use and good to find before and after power gains, also see your times if your upgrades have done anything for you. They are cool lil gizmos to have i rekon.

my F22B1 does a superspeed 0-100 in low 8's HAHAHAHA, damn i wanna go faster but it wont work LOL-onli if it was the H22A dangz
