Genuine Roof Racks - How To Install?

i got myself a pair of 2nd hand genuine honda roof racks for my accord euro...

the only problem is, i do not know how to install them....i've got the keys and etc, tried locking/unlocking but have no clue how to do it.

can anyone share?

Turn the key and pull out that part that clamps onto the door frame.

i did, it won't budge. :(

just found out how to take it off...

unlock it (so the keyhole is horizontal), and you pull that plastic cover (with the honda symbol on it) out....you pull it towards the side of the car...

then there is a clamp that u pull up to release/loosen it.....can also adjust the bolt inside to determine how tight the clamp is when u lock it down...

does the roof racks damage ur paint?

That's what I was thinking when I saw that pick. Need some cloth or rubber in there.

nope, the bottom of the roof racks have a piece of rubber that is about 1cm thick...

and that black metal part that attaches to the door frame has this thick plastic/vinyl tape on the back of it so it won't damage ur paint.
