Hey Mates!

After some reconsidering im going to keep my mugen 14" Rims, but im looking for some low profile rubber for them. So just want to clarify my working out. That for instance you have a 195/60R14 tyre, that means that the the tyre is 195mm wide and the sidewall width is 60% of 195?

If this is correct then after researching manufacturas I have found that only firestone make a 55 profile for 14" rims. Therefor if I want the smallest sidewall I will have to sacrifice 10mm if tyre width. Hmmmmm

60% of 195 = 11.7cm
60% of 185 = 11.1cm
55% of 185 = 10.175cm

Have I done this right? or am I missing something? Also are there any other manufacturas that make a 55 or even 50 profile for 14" rims?

Thanks
- Kyle

get semi slicks so that u have stiff sidewalls

also the % of sidewall is sometimes not correct because some tyre company says its a 195 but its really a 200 ...

but if u go lower profile then what ur car is rated ur speedo will b wrong...
