EF gear in ED

just a stupid question before i fork out a load of money, but is EF gear compatible with the ED civic? specifically, im interested in the suspension bits such as springs, strut braces, etc.

Yes the two cars are identical looking minus small differences in body panels and EFs are injected where as our ED's arent. But suspension parts should all fit without too much hassle...

american EF is pretty much the same as ausse ED

japanese EF has numerous differents then the aussie ED..
like suspension revisions, different engine (b16a or zc even 1.5 carb) different engine bay design and front etc

yeah, but so long as they're parts of a similar design, then the parts should work, right? most likely the parts im buying are made for the jap spec EF as they are parts from japan.

Let us know specifically what part you are considering buying and we can tell you definatly.

i sent ya a PM. as long as the springs are genuine, then they should be good, but as you said, parts made for EF JDM may have trouble fitting. the struts and ties, probably no trouble fitting them as theyre designed for USDM, but they aren't brand name so their quality might be questionable.
