Many of you know already that to gain a lot of power out of a naturally aspirated car (NA) you NEED headers as an exhaust and intake can only do so much (usually very little in terms of outright power).
Here are some dyno results for Buddy club DC5R headers:
http://www.buddyclub.com.au/2007/images/BC_exhaust_header_intake.gif
Specs: DC5 Type-S (we would expect even more gains from a Type-R).
Exhaust: Buddy club Pro Spec
Headers: Buddy club Racing spec exhaust manifold
Intake: Fujita short ram (we would expect even more gain from the cold air intake version as short rams don't usually perform too well on the dyno).
That's a huge power gain of 23.07HP (17.20kw) at the wheels and 14.79 lb-ft gain in torque!!! That's a very healthy gain from an NA engine.
This exhaust manifold is a hot seller in the USA and has come up trumps on many header tests in various magazines. It's the same specification as the exhaust manifold used on the BUDDY CLUB #91 DC5, with same design, material, quality and performance.
RRP on the header is $1400.00.
