Anyone used JDM pedals on their DC2? Worth the $200 investment?

Do you mean the Mugen pedals like these?

Very ANNOYING to install!!!!..

Me and Shin has installed it into our DC2.. Clutch Pedal, accelerator was the easiest. Brake Pedal now thats a different story.. to get the pedal off, we had to take off the Brakemaster and Booster. Disconnect the piston from the pedal, which those Cotter Pins are very hard to bend whilst upsidedown.

we found it easier to install the pedals while the braket was outside of the car which required a bit of shuffling and banging and scraped KNuckles.. but we got all 3 of the pedals installed in just under 3 hours.

Mind you it was 3 hours of hell.. i would never do it again!

The great thing about the OEM DC2R and EK9 TypeX pedals is that they are fully street legal unlike the Mugen ones posted above.

a cop still tried to defect me for them. but i sent my car through regency aka "the pits" with them and the didn't take any notice of them.

these are fitted standard to S2000 and DC5R in Australia so you know they meet ADR requirements.

but god dam they are pain in the ass to install!
