well i have a amp and all these wiring cos its a 4 channel, and each chanel has its won speaker. thing is. i wanna locate a speaker but i cant be stuffed following the wires under the trim. so is there a way to locate each speaker? like using a 9v battery or sumthing and holding the pos and neg wires to either end and producing a buzzing noise or soemthing? i read it in a forum once.

like at the amp theres 4 speakers connected to it, i wanna know which wires are which speakers. i know the pos and neg of the speakers i just dunno which speaker it is.lol

get an AA 1.5v battery and connect it to a pair of wires... one of your speakers will make a distortion sound...

yeh i thought that method for the speaker thing would work...



nd listening to music with one speaker connected takes too long and is a hassle i suppose.?lol

You got your answer up above.

Have all your wires going near your amp; get out a AA battery. Hook it up to a Pos & Neg. You'll get a noise from a Speaker; have someone check which is making the sound if you can't tell which one it is.

i made that name up in yr8.lol sitting in a boring english class
then it just became somethign i use always.lol
could be my number plate one day. if i cbf to get them.lol
