Just bought a 2nd gen ED9 CRX today with an unexpected B16A conversion already done, need to upgrade the seats as the current driver seat is pretty rooted.

Are the seat rails specific to ED/EF civics or I could modify DC2/EG OE rails to fit?

I want to fit one SR3 seat for the driver side for now.

the eg seat rail is wider but the look similar to the ed rails
i tried to put a bucket seat from my bros gen2 into my gen3 crx, using his rails, but yeh as i said the rails were too close together to fit my gen3 crx(eg)

thanks for the info czysol87, I guess pre EG aftermarket parts avail is always a bit restricted. I might be better off buying a new Bride from Access with rails supplied instead of chasing the SR3.

if you use the gen2 rails and prefit any seat to it you'll be alright. by prefit i mean make holes etc.. its not that hard.

i know gen2 rails almost fit a gen1 and vice versa but not a gen3

ok I see SINISTR thanks for your advice, so I need to take the rails from the factory CRX seats and adapt them onto say a SR3 seat right?

sounds good if that works out, will save me $$$ buying a set of recaro rails.
