it shouldnt make it any worst.. cant see how it can..

and bunny hop is asssocaited with lca's moving back and forth...

engine damper is not intentionally designed to stop bunny hop.

it was designed to give better vehicle balance on and off throttle, entering and exiting corners.

better off with traction bars... made to stop bunny hop by holding LCR in position

engine torque damper are junked. You need to fill in the torque mounts. I filled in the rear engine mount and the 2 torque mounts and that helped elminate some wheel hop.

Next step is to get a set of traction bars. They help both handling and wheel hop.

And funnily enough, I've got a spare set of traction bars...

In terms of wheel hop, it was never an issue with my vti-r, before or after traction bars. what suspension setup have you got, and how are the enging mounts??

hehe, i experienced same thing when i went to wsid, ****en hop all the way man , hehe, the funny thing was the only time i got my 60ft down to 2.23, i got the most hops , felt like riding a wild horse , i had engine damper as well, the sussy are N+ , mounts with inserts. i was thinking about it in one stage if it will make a difference without it , then kept forgetting to take it off , now it is off the car , will go again to see if it make any difference then let u know .

it is on there the way i bought it, when i take it off, there is no wheel hopping at all, my engine nmounts are fine, have got them checked, also i had h brace which i just sold, as it couldnt fit my headers hung down too low for the traction h brace bar i had............
can someone show me which treaction h brace is recomended if running 4-1 headers as they hang very low
my suspension is tein s/s
the hopping has become less since the suspension was installed..........

what headers are you running?

i have the exact same one as above, i made it fit

EDIT - just have to bend the curve up a bit more, put it in a vice

cover the vice with old thick cloth so it doesn't get scratch, not that its never going to get scratched

also best to adjust your driving style and use more clutch off the line ( ride it)
Practice makes perfect - not lots of mods.

IEVAQ8
10-07-2007, 08:37 PM
true, i do ride clutch as much as possible, i hate rev and dump, only when necassary......lol
