The panel is not much louder than stock. If you want loud, then look at this: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=57-0602 But you must ask K&N first if it fits the 1.5L vtec jazz as this part number is for the 1.4L (not sure if it is a typo).

there is no suitable model in autobarn for my 03 vti-s. they only have the 33-2872 for 1.3 one.
they say they can setup one for me, pod one and piping. but cost around 300. because they say there is a sensor to deal with. i dunt understand

The part number is on K&N's website and they should be able to order it in. Of course, check if it fits on your car first. :)

Drop in panel is the best option for fuel economy and better throttle response.

You will not notice it being louder, but you will hear a nice whirrring noise when you reach higher RPM.

If you opt for pod filter, you should do it properly and have it mounted below the engine bay so you are not sucking up hot air from the engine - causing a big drop in performance at the lights and more fuel consumption.

I'm currently using a drop in for my civic and its proven to have better fuel consumption but dunno about adding kilowatts.. But I want a louder intake noise so..

My next mod will be to get a cold air intake kit from ebay then mount a K&N filter to it so it sucks more cold air from underneath. If you're worried bout water getting in, K&N have these sleeves called DryCharger which u wrap around the filter and restricts water from entering pod.
