800 bux, tyres are 80%, wheels are like new. yeh, time to lower it, ive had 2 mates offer to do it, one with a grinder and another with an oxy to heat the springs til they sag down. i be right i think.

it will probably stay at that height for quite some time. As i dont wanna scrimp on the suspension. springs stuts and camber kit for me.

whats the ideal set up for every day driving? I want a 2.5 inch drop but i dont want it to be so stiff its uncomfortable. I dont expect it to be supple but you know what i mean.

I am leaning towards eibach springs, koni yellows and a kmac camber kit.

Im so suspension guru but would this set up be a good compromise between comfort and handling?

I paid $900 for brand new 17s with tyres, wheel nuts (inc lock nuts), hub center rings (umm the plastic rings to make sure the wheels stay centred - cost like $20 if you buy separate), fitting and balancing!

But they arent chrome :)

From what i've seen, 2.5" is a 'sensible' drop. But it also looks like the floorpan of the Accord is already pretty low so you might have scraping issues already. I'm not going to be sensible (i think the springs i've got will give me around a 4" drop :/)

hehe Dom, they are 2.5" lowered Kmac springs :D

Cam lowered 2.5" you will have a difficult time actually straightening out the camber without a fair bit of guard work

Really? Oh well... That should make it pretty practical then :)

But your accord is much lower than 2.5"... I would say closer to 4"!
I'm basing this on the fact that i have about 4" gap between my wheel and my fender, and you have absolutely none.... :P

yeh i know, but when you order 2.5" lowered springs that's what you get (its consistent with the 3" lowered ones that i had before, which were lower!):)

and pete also has 18's to fill his guards :D

the rolling diameter of the 18's is a few mm smaller than the stockies ;)

i think a good height would be sumfin like pete's, but maybe a bit higher. syd roads suck.

I have height adjustable bilstein shocks (perch style) with Eibach springs with approximately 2 1/2, 3 inch drop.

The handling is heaps better then stock dude! no more floating all over the place over 100km/h, heaps less bodyroll through corners, but u still maintain a decent ride with this combo.

Sydney shock absorbers in sydenham supplied and fitted mine for like 1400....

Yeah Calvo, I posted a few low resolution shots in the photo album the other night when I joined up... If you wanna have a peek, I think by memory I named the shots, bootfull of soundstream, and my accord.

Oh and remember you can look but u cant touch Calvo

Nothing major dude nah.. Just the usual...

Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, Whiteline sway bar, Energy suspension bushes, Ingalls camber kit, exhaust, polished induction pipe, throttle body spacer, exhaust, Carbon fibre dash kit, aluminium guage surround, luminious speedo dials, carbon momo gear knob, 2 sound stream amps, 2 10 inch soundstream exact subs, Neotech 1.5 farad capicitor, Alpine DDDrive 6 x 9's, 6 " splits, pioneer cd player mp3/wma yadda yadda

Mine is a VTI-S with [acronym:c6b742e93b="Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control"]VTEC[/acronym:c6b742e93b], leather, climate control, leccy sunroof, leccy seat etc

Most of the mods were done 4 years ago when I 1st bought the car, back then the only car with altezza tailights were the Is200's! The Honda dealership, asked me how in the hell did I fit the Is 200 taillights in

Instead of buying a new liberty or accord euro, im going 2 throw a few dollars at my accord. 1st mod being a turbonetics turbo kit, with a few other engine mods, then an aerogear titan bodykit, black chrome altezza tailights, black chrome bumper indicators, halo headlights and a respray. Then I will squeeze a set of 19's In :D either racing harts, or another set of chrome bling blings from Tempe again 8)
