Diy Ctr Grille For Em1 Or Replica Ctr Grille?

Hi..anyone has done a civic type R front grille to the em1 or facelifted ek? anyone did any DIY to achieve dat civic type R can post up on how to do it?
also if i were to buy a replica CTR grille, roughly how much i have to pay and where can i get 1 from?

i did one for the pre face lift model if you have a read in there. however its different from the face lift models. but you will get a understanding if you read throught it.

i believe with the face lift models its quiet hard the middle bid is actually attached onto the outter grill itself? you would probably need to have really crafty hands to cut the middle bit out and smooth it out.

alot of hassle. just go buy a replica CTR grill for 50 bucks or so on EBAY.

otherwise rock genuine for a only few hundred :thumbsup:

dude... if u have an EM1 with the OEM grill... all u have to do is remove the Honda badge and its CTR grill already!

I have this on my pre-facelift, its a pain in the ass. If you have the 'one piece' grill I recommend buying a replacement (replica or orig.), as I plan on doing...

replica looks good, fitting isnt 100% the sides will stick out a lil

hahahaa trust me dude.. dont waste ur money! i was abt to go buy a replica grill aswell until i realised i could just ditch the badge... easiest mod u could ever do to an EM1!! recommend it... all the guys i know with EM1's have done the same..

well heres what mine looks like after i took the badge off... 2 screws and ur done! :cool:
