View Full Version : 17 & 16" wheels?
I just want peoples opinons on what size rims i should get? originally i wanted 16s because they're lighter and i think wont cause problems like scraping.
But I cant seem to find alot of stuff in 16s? some guy at a place was telling me most of them come 17 now.
So if i chuck on a set of 17s is it gonna effect anything?
thanks!

If you're after practicality and light weight, then keep looking for 16's you like.

Theres plenty on nice 16s out there, just need to look more. Dont rush it cus you might be looking for a second set of wheels before you know it, just like me $$$$$:(

so, to provide a definitive answer? all you provided was an answer that cancelled each other out. hence not answering anything at all. haha
Ok,
17s - usually heavier, tyres more expensive, less tread potentially, may be defectable depending on cop, sluggish performance + handling (according to dc2 owner).
16s - opposite all the above.
Go 16s, with right lowering, they will look the right size, and you will most likely retain performance, and more than likely improve handling due to the thinner sidewall/wieight of the rim. all about equilibrium.
