i am rewiring my speakers and had to take out a clip thing. its the same bit as in the bit below, its the white part which is on the outside of the door and a rubber cover is placed over it, on the inside of the door, their is a similar part in which attached to it on the otherside. i unclipped these things so i could get my wire through and when i clipped them back together, i tried my windows and they dont work. i didnt cut any wires anywhere. just made a hole in the rubber sleeve to get the wire in, no cutting or wires etc. and now it doesnt work. i pushed it back together numberous number of times to try and get it to work. but still nothing. anyone have any ideas? or should i just see an auto elec?

Perhaps during the work something shorted.

Have you checked the fuses?
Do the other power windows work?

the other power windows dont normally work unless the main one, the driver side one is plugged in and therefore i cant tell. i guess i will take it to the auto elec. see, what he can do.

check the fuse?
get a test light and see if power is going to it.
