Hey guys, just bought a new h/u for my civic.
GOt everything out, fine, but I need to know waht the wires are that are in the OEM Clip - the one that clips to theback of the OEM h/u.
Is there a risk if I connect everything wrongly?
I'm a noob with the A/V stuff.
I searched and couldn't find shit.

just get a wiring adapter harness. 30-40 bux. u can get em thru aerpro n dna, n most car audio places. itll make installing ur headunit much easier as itll just be 'plug n play'. (basically one end connects to ur h.u & the other end is specifically designed to suit ur car, eg. honda ---> pioneer/alpine/jvc/etc.)
www.aerpro.com.au
pick car harnesses in the menu :)

Yes, there is a risk if you connect things wrongly. Dead HU, blowing your speakers, blowing fuses. As mentioned above you can purchased wiring harness to make life a lot easier: Civic harness -> Generic and then a Generic plug -> HU specific, it should be about $15-20 for each plug.
If you're handy with a soldering iron then just get a Civic -> Generic plug and then match up the wiring to the headunit's harness, all of it should be colour coded.
