im about to get my personalised plates and dont want them being pinched. What kinda screw head do you recomand i find. on the ek its like a 10 - 12 gauge or more screw.

just get a normal screw but get a plastic washer to go behind it before u screw on the plate.

on the front i stuffed my screw holes so now its bolted in with a nut on the back
the usual plate theif my not be prepared for that haha
but why would anyone wanna steal my plates anyway

well we air impact drilled my mates plates onto his bumper and he cant get them off by hand.
we didnt do it on purpose but it works a treat.

screw with washer/nut @ the back of the plate, then superglue the screw to the plate...
extra safe...padlock ur plate too:p

you can get these "special" you may call em screws from autobarn.
altrex makes em i think
with a normal screw driver you can tighten em, but if you try to loosen em it will slip, unless you have the tool, which obvisously comes with it.

I bought them for a dollar each from Burson Auto...but they didn't sell the tool to remove them!

lol, i think whatever you do make sure you can undo it and im curious if you got them nicked.. which i have never seen you can just get them replaced ? for free? cause some 1 nicked your plates and you pay up front for the plates themselves anyway right? :eek:

Bro,
Use 3M's double side tape. It suits all weather.
Just stick on the four sides of the plate will do...

from what i heard personalised plates you got to pay to get new ones.
