Hello,
the front left tyre on my 1986 Honda Prelude has gotten a puncture and when I took it to my local tyre shop to see if they could repair it, they said the tread was in poor condition and they wouldn't want to repair it. So I am up for a new tyre, the size is 195/55 R15 and the previous one was a Bridgestone Grid II.
Most places have quoted me $145 for a Hankook, $120 for Sime, $155 for Toyo and $209 for a Michelin, but this is probably more than I can afford. I don't want to go a retread and so was wondering whether anyone knew of any places in Adelaide that do secondhand tyres? I have rung around to places in the yellow pages but most don't have them in that size.
Any help and assitance is much appreaciated as I would like to know if I can get a decet branded secondhand one before I have to borrow money to buy a brand new tyre. Cheers Benny
