is it oil or grease ?

its that clear oily stuff u see in the bucket, does a ***ed piston mean new slave?
also how much are they usually from honda?
btw the clutch get stuck down when i press it, doesnt come back up..

its brake fluid / clutch fluid. You need to replace the entire piston + slave cylinder that you are holding in the pic (under the rubber boot)
go to honda or pm destrukshn (jt) and get a price. not much...

not hard to change it'll be 2x12mm bolts holding it down, just remember to apply a bit of grease to the ball end then give a bleed.

dont forget the 10mm nut holding hte pipe into the head of it.
After installation you bleed the clutch again , and its as good as new.

yeah just remembered that, careful with that one usually it'll be tight as and you'll more than likely round it if using the wrong tool or too much force.

fair enough, while i wait for the part, is there anything i can have a look at to see if i installed it wrong etc? because i pulled the two bolts out and moved the whole thing over so i can fit the turbo through, then i put it together, could i have put anything together incorrectly?

it's pretty straight forward. take the old one out and put the new one in the same way. Not much that can go wrong unless you forgot to put the bolts back in or and brake line. Don't think you can get the ball end to the fork aligned incorrectly.

remember to FINGER TIGHTEN each bolt (x 2) and the nut holding hte pipe to the top of the cylinder. Its alittle difficult placing the slave onto the side of the gearbox , but take is slowly and finger tighten the 2 x 12mm bots in and once they bite you should be set.

thanx dood, do u think this could be why when i pressed the clutch while i was driving a few days ago itll make a squeeky noise from the engine bay? or something unrelated?
I pulled the rubber boot off and it seems like theres a spring, and a small thing on it that looks like a sensor or something :P and then the ball thing , all 3 are loose of eachother

shouldn't it be just the fork that joins on to the clutch slave? don't remember any sensor.
squeaky noise will be due to lack of lubrication on the fork to the ball joint, pack it with any grease (I use copper grease but you can use anything really). And you didn't really need to take the boot off, could have done it with it still attached.

nah nah its not a sensor, just my silly way of describing the small thing inside the slave boot....
the thing that confuses me is why there isnt anything holding that ball in place, it seems to just be loose , is it supposed to be joint to something?
