i think my fuel filter has packed in and was just after some advice on what the best fuel filter is to buy for an EK civic.

oem honda .. cant get anything better than oem
its abt $50-60 at honda

no. There is a few types.
Give you local honda or parts department your car and model type/engine type and they will give you the filter to suit.
PS change the fuel filter every 40k , less in extreme dodgy fuel cirumstances

i'm actually curious if anyone has opened up an oem Honda filter after prolonged use of United Petroleums' 98Boost w/ 10% ethanol?
my oem nissan ones deteriorated and ended up replacing for a high flow copper element filter

Our 94 Accord that lived on 98 RON had its original fuel filter changed after 12 years. LOL. The inside was full of a gel-like substance, causing blockages. Good thing it was only an F22a that rarely saw over 4000rpm.
