EG6 Mirrors

Hey all

A while back i had a stack in my EG6 civic.
In the accident, my drivers side mirror was smashed up pretty badly.

What i want to do is replace the shell and mirror with an AUDM one, while maintaining the retractable internals, as the JDM's are rare (and expensive) when the come up!
Can anyone varify for me how simalar these are and if this is possible.

how bad was it smashed up? if u still have it, look at it and see if the shell is openable. all EG mirrors are the same except the EG6 ones are powered folded. but i think the bit that bolts on the door needs to be undamaged as that bit is the actual power folding

just use the shell swop the inerntals over..
