Hey all first post on this forum.
I just bought a honda prelude 97 model vti-r atts, its a great car but no keyless entry and in the dark is a problem. Now its got central locking standard, but was keyless entry standard on the prelude?,im not sure.I saw a keyless entry honda key for sale a while bak on ebay.So all im wondering is does anyone know where i can get one?.Other than the outrageously over priced :honda: dealer.
Thanks all

If i were you i wouldnt bother buying the standard keyless entry for your Preude just invest your money in a good car alarm and that would give you keyless entry.

it does matter, they might question you about alarm etc..

The insurance company knows all the details of the car.And i told them about the keyless entry, just in case, because yes sometimes they can get away from paying on a technicality.

I believe it was a factory option for keyless entry that later came as standard from 99+ onwards.
I would invest in an aftermarket alarm. Worth a thought?
