hey all, in the process of putting 96 model [acronym:fa246809e1="Japanese Domestic Market"]JDM[/acronym:fa246809e1] prelude front brakes onto my 94 accord.
All looks pretty straight forward.
I have been told by a trusted mechanic that i may need to swap the master cylinders if the preludes cylinder is the same.
he justifies this nby saying that larger braking systems ( the ludes brakes have larger rotors and calipers) need a larger capacity master cylinder. Other wise if i run the larger brakes with the accord cylinder i wont be getting the most out of the brakes and i would be not much better off than using standard accord brakes.
What i would like to know, if anyone else knows if the 96 prelude vtir brake master cylinder has a larger capacity than a 94 accord vti.
thanks.
