is ur car 2door or 4door? in some states if its a 2door and the seats r not reclinable, then the car has to be re-registered as a 2 seater.

If you have side airbags, then your bucket seats must also have functioning side airbags. If it doesn't, then it is not road legal.

Also i think it is important to make sure that if the vehicle is for road use, that the seats are ADR Approved for Safety, engineering and legality reasons.
