hey i brought some black housing headlights for my integra but i have a question about the Halo lights and the lights itself. here is a picture of the back with all the wires

Also i want to run them seperatly through a switch so i can have them on at any time (without having to have the parkers on) but i was wondering about voltage and what i would need to do about keeping it the same voltage, and if there is anythign i can get to keep it at a certain voltage so i dont blow the bulbs in the lights...

Thanks

u might want to consider that running the lights on @ any time would reduce the life of the halo LEDs...

the LED's will last longer than the car as they last for approximately 10,000 hours if you dont neglect them. i have Halos on my car as well. I had them wired like how you want but got done by the cops as you are not allowed to have them on without your parkers on. As for the amount of voltage it is hard to tell as every LED has its different power rating. But i think they are high intensity LEDS so 10-12v should be fine. If you worried about putting excess voltage in just put a couple of diodes in series to the power

So how do you neglect an LED? Care to elaborate

basically if you add to much voltage into them it will shorten the life span that is why to play it on the safe side if you are running them without the parkers you would add a few diodes so you have a voltage drop. I would worry to much if they blow anyway as they are only 3mm LEDS which can be sourced fairly easy and not that hard to replace
