Hey,

Ive just bought an 03' euro lux.

Was just wondering if it would be possible to put a few guages in it, im looking at putting the defi oil temp, water temp and exhaust temp guages in there.

Has anyone done this already? or is it not really worth it?

cheers

looks good but on a street driven car I can't see enough practical use to justify the cost.

i think the same as well, but ive still got the guages from my last turbo car that i sold, so was thinkin mayb i could install them on the euro rather than selling them. They are the defi bf white series and would go really well with the dash of the euro

The only gauge worth putting in the Euro is the oil temperature gauge and (if you track your car), the oil pressure gauge.

The Euro has a built in coolant temperature gauge (hold Dual+Auto when you turn on the car. Press the rear demister button until you reach number "4")

Pressure and temperature senders are connected to the control unit. Then the control unit hooks up to the gauge. Power is supplied to the gauges through the control unit, which makes tapping for power much neater.

Not cheap. A trader sells them. The controller is $149 with gauges, while each gauge is about $200. http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67812

intake manifold + controller = got in hk, so there were like 40% cheaper than getting it here, but i kind remember the actual price

other 2 got them in aus. i advice u guys to get it from oversea, much cheaper

engine temp = $250 + $100 for install (around 100, mayb 95 can't remember)
oil pressure = $325 + $100 for install (around 100, mayb 95 can't remember)
and u need this Trust sandwich oil sensors adapter $100

Hey BusterSonic, those gauges looks good. Did you drill the dash to run the cables through or just run it towards the windscreen and down? From the pic, looks like you ran it across and down.

I think he ran it across where the dash meets the windscreen. It is never good to drill holes in you dash in case you want to sell your car off. :)

it just kill the classic look of Euro. If you seriously need those info, just get a defi control unit with defi control display and the sensors you need. More clean
