Just move it to somewhere else on the firewall. Looks like the fuel vapour thingy.

is it removable?
i think 1 line went to the manifold and other to the fpr

Its the purge control solenoid valve

One hose goes to the fuel evap canister, the other hose goes to that nipple shown in the pic above on the rear of the manifold

i double checked
it had one line going to the fpr and one to the mani
none to the canister

canister has one to the TB and one to firewall (to the fuel tank)

???
removable?

There should be 3 hoses to the canister, the top nipple on the canister goes to that solenoid controlling the purge of the canister, are u sure there wasnt a tee off goin to the fpr?

Ignore what i said,i just found out that its a fpr cut off solenoid valve, not a purge control,u were right.

I couldnt tell u what purpose it serves, but at a guess i would say its removable,OBD1's dont use one.

ok the orange line is the vaccum for the MAF sensor. So you def need that.

As for the green line, seems like you might need it. Try just running a vaccum line directly to the FPR and see if it has any effect. If it doesn't then piss the unit off.

Dan, its best u retain them all as they do affect the way the car accelerates with the stock computer.

Easiest solution for you is to run a vacuum manifold that we can provide to you for next to nothing, and it will give you many more ports for vacuum. if ur unsure shoot us a pm

andy, do you know what is does specifically?

most people mistake it for purge control of the canister.. because obd1 have them

this device is just between the FPR and the manifold

a lot of people on hondatech say just rip it off

no one has told me what it specifically does (ie no one knows).

in regards to MAF.. or MAP.. the new TB i have has one..

all i need is a line to the booster and FPR really

ok, as always i like to reply to my threads when i have come to a conclusion..

Basically i removed the device, it went between the FPR and the manifold..
it is known as a Fuel Pressure Solenoid.

If i recall correctly there is no corresponding ECU light for this device so it doesnt seem like a critical device. I guess it will block the line between the FPR and manifold when the ECU tells it..

i have had it removed for 2 weeks now with no real dramas.. AFR's seem fine too!
