petrol indicator

ok, my car has been playing up a little bit lately. mainly the electronics, when i indicate, every couple of seconds, the opposite indicator will indicate too. my alarm recently stuffed up so had to get it disconnected so only happened after this. now i was driving and noticed that my fuel indicator was at the bottom and usually the light comes on when it gets low but i realised that it was coming on. its for an ek1. so i decided to fill up just incase and about 36L was put in, i know it holds 45L. which means that there must have been about 9L left. does anyone know how low it needs to get before the light starts coming on?

My fuel warning light comes on at just above the white line before it goes to red zone.

As for your indicator, i had a similar problem when my alarm stuffed up (both indicators used to stay on without blinking). Might want to get the shop that did it to take care of it as it sounds pretty annoying.
