Its about time we saw something like this.

And to think, its another Online built car. Its a credit to you guys putting so much work into developing FWD racing in this country and taking it to new levels in all facets of Sport Compact racing.

Did you guys do the chassis in house? What's the ballpark cost of the chassis work?

Well done.

Thanks for the kind words guys, i will post up alot more pics soon and also a description of what has been done to it..

Darren, Yes the chassis work was all done in house, not too sure what something like that would end up costing, i still need to work all that out myself..

Evan, No thats not a NOS bottle, it is a 10lb fire system hehe..

Jim, has anyone else in Oz done a chassis for a FWD other than you boys? I can't think of one off the top of my head. The only one that comes to mind(but nowhere near the same level of work) is the MRDMGE (or whatever it was) EG that CRD did years ago.

I'm definitely going to spend some time looking at this marvellous beast at Jambo. :)

Evan, We were contemplating selling the ALLMOTOR car as a rolling chassis, the PRO FWD car should be coming back as a ALLMOTOR and we are looking at building a Honda Powered Pro RWD car. Not sure how will things will turn out at this stage..

I guess most people here wish they had the capacity and ability to emulate what you guys are doing in the scene.

Great work.

I'm curious however - why get rid of the gen2? is there an obvious benefit in using the gen3 and eg chassis over the ED/EF? or is it just personal preference?

The gen2 is a great car and great chassis but the gen3 is a full chassis car with a fibreglass body so it is about 300lbs lighter and we can play with the chassis alot more.

Went testing today at WSID and managed a best of 9.69@137mph, The car went very strong to the half, running 6.33@125mph before easing off top end (hence the 137mph and not 150+). The idea of today was for us to test the chassis and for an one armed dynodave to collect some data and work on the tune. The gear ratio's and final drive are now completely wrong for the car but we are still waiting for PAR to get the new dogbox together for us. Our best 60 foot for the day was a 1.53.
