Hey folks.

Have been trying to nail down a rattle, and I think I've found it.

The dash panel above the glovebox is the source of the rattle. It sounds like it's coming from the direction of the passenger air vent on the left side of the panel, but if you push firmly against the right side of the panel (next to the stereo) the rattle stops. It doesn't stop if you push on where it sounds like the rattle is coming from.

I've got the Euro going in for its 30k service next week, and the workshop manager has heard the rattle but I've been working on it to make sure he has as much info as possible to sort it once and for all.

Any ideas appreciated.

Just any ideas on what's causing the rattle. Are there clips which hold that panel on or something?

It's closer to the glovebox and airvent, rather than up towards the windscreen. I thought airbag at first, but it's too far from the airbag cover. It's like the panel is rattling against itself as if it is loose. But is that panel part of the dash, or is it a part that's held on by clips to the dash?
