Just picked up a Viper 5900 to install in my car can anyone tell me a a good place to get an alarm installed and around how much I'm looking at having to spend on install?

Had a quick search for previous thread but I'm in abit of a hurry so thought I'd just post it up anyways.

Cheers!

Most Auto-Electricians can do it; probably about $150.

If it's a 2/3 point and you want it to cover insurance; ensure the person has a current class 2 security licence.

You get for what you pay for. No point paying someone 150 where a thief can break in and find the brain in less then 10 sec.

Find someone that does s stealth install. Hopefully the thief will give up and move along seeing that he can't find the brain of the alarm system.

I figure he's bought something off the shelf - so it would probablt be a 1-2 point system, $150 is about as much as it would cost for a basic system.

Installation costs vary from state to state, sydney is cheaper than melbourne, lol. - cause everyone is undercutting.
