View Full Version : what boost controller?
well kind of clear im in need of a boost controller if i want to reach my aims for the civic (13.99 of faster in full street trim, last night my first time ever ran 14.8.... i know being my first time on the track that the car is capable of more, ha my 60ft times werent the best and bogged down everytime) atm im running stock 6 psi whilch i want to retain for daily driving purposes as its still fast enough to smoke shit with that. however i want to be able to change the boost pretty much with the flick of a switch from 6 psi to 10 psi (as in if im sitting at a lights just flick the switch and goes from 6 to 10. or if im dragging). so basictly im in need of a dual stage boost controller another thing is i only want to spend around 400$ would prefer new but a second hand one in good condition would be fine... so any surggestions?
ok never mind... got one picking it up this arvo :D

I am really under the impression that there are no real alternatives for a EBC around that price, anyone else know of any other EBC's?
not 100% sure but i hear blitz is pretty well priced

A couple of other EBCs which are similarly priced are:
- Blitz Spec S (only single solenoid, the dual solenoid Blitz EBCs hold boost extremely well)
- Apexi AVCR

Mate of mine had a turbosmart e-boost. It was pretty good actually and gave a better result than he was expecting.
It beeps/alarms at you when it hits peaks boost for that full Johnny Tran effect too. LOL.... Ricey? Yes. Still cool and functional? Definately.

e-boost is a fantastic EBC but out of that price range though.
