Hey guys, I recently had my car lowered and had it aligned straight after it was lowered. The guy at Bob Jane said that I might have to invest in some camber kits otherwise my tires would wear our pretty fast. I’ve recently checked my tires and they are wearing out on the inside due to the negative camber.

I don’t know much about this sort of stuff… so can someone have a look at the wheel alignment results and let me know if there is anything I can do to correct this problem… before I have to resort to buying camber kits??? Or is a camber kit the only resolution according to the figures?

Thanks!!

I don't think there is anything you can do other than get a camber kit, but if anyone can provide evidence to the contrary (other than using washers which effectively decreases camber as well) please do. There are different types of kits so do some searching first if you're going to go ahead with it.

factory camber tolerance is usually -+ 0.5 deg
unless your car is a track car running that much front neg camber will kill the rubber

You can have camber and not chew the rubbers. I've got -2 degree camber on each side and tyre wear is not a issue.

Yes get a camber kit, they'll fit the problem. Should try to fit new rubber bushings. Give noltec suspension a call, they got new bushings in stock.

^^^yep totally agree with the comment above
i've got bout the same neg camber on all 4 wheels and dont have issues with camber wear
what will kill ur tyres is the toe, that should be set at 0 toe, and this can or should be done at ur tyre shop while they do the allignment

if you get caster kit you dont need much neg camber.

I just got a camber kit for my back...cause it was 4 degrees...front not to bad at about 1.5 degrees...but yeah...helps lol...

I got the skunk2 kit, but check Ebay...had some d2 camber kits on before...just make sure you have enough adjustment...skunk2 gives 5 degrees at the front adjustment.
