just curious as to how much boost a stock b16a block can handle,

keeping in mind that forged internals, eagle rods balanced crank etc.. head work etc
will it handle 15, 20, 25psi of boost???

just weighing up the option of sleeving the block before building ( pending this question i guess) if it handles a fair bit then i guess i will leave it but if they are weak i'll guess sleeving is the way to go!

Lots of variables there mate. Its not a question of boost.

What power output are you after?

Run 7psi safely with a decent tune. I'm doing that now:thumbsup:

If you want 250kw or a little above, standard sleave is fine. If you want to do a better job or more power, get it resleaved.

But it depends on Everything. If anything is crap, it will affect power, engine failure etc. So just do your research, speak to people in the know and you'll be fine.
