Fuel TANK for ED!!

just want to know which model`s fuel tank should i put into my ed sedan, for an fuel injected convertion.. also fuel lines as well

i know i can re use it and add an electric fuel pump.. but just curious about which one is better :wave:

My mate converted a carby corolla to f.i, he used the original tank with a pump put inside (as you suggest) and he has never had any probs with that!

Use a old CRX ( gen 2 i think?!?) fuel tank it has the fuel pump inside.Should fit !

thanks for that.. but i think its kinda hard to find CRX fuel tank around these days... will a EG Tank fit?

no the eg fuel tank wont fit.
fact of the matter is your going to need a tank from a ed civic of ed crx.
as the only efi ed around is either a ef9 civic or the ed crxs.
try a local honda wercker. always a good place to start.

Any of the JDM EF or EE (Euro EF/ED) Civic tanks will fit. The trick is finding a wrecker that has them. Try NZ wreckers as they imported a shitload of EF Si and SiR Civics. Strong for Honda could be a starting point. The other option would be a US ED tank as those cars were only EFi, not carbies. More expensive to import though.

Concerto tank does not fit. I have been told the DA9 tank can fit with a little modification or maybe it was fit the DA9 fuel pump to the ED6 fuel tank. I cannot remember though, been ages since I did my conversion
