03 Integra Luxury Seats fit an 02 Integra type R

Hi guys was just wanting to know will the 03 Integra Luxury Seats fit an 02Integra type R? I need one for my passenger seat as i have larger people sitting on that side and wrecking my seats..

What parts will i need to fit it or can I use the rails that come with it or my recaro rails??

yes it will fit, but i'm not sure how the side airbags work with that tho
a friend of mine has the leather seats in his 2003 TypeR from factory because he bought a Honda dealer manager's car and he had the leather seats put in instead of the Recaros

So the Luxury Model has airbag in the seats too? is there leather seats that dont have airbags?

^ yes exactly. it won't work either way unless you go the whole 9 yards and get all the sensors and stuff (maybe even ECU) to make the side airbags work in a DC5 TypeR

the hassle is trying to put recaros into the TypeS with side airbag sensors...:(

That's what I thought. If they can't fit in a Recaro they're dead weight. Honda didn't work on shaving kilos off the car to have you pack them back in. :p

I don't keep anything in the car for 2 reasons. One, I like a tidy space and two, I think that street directory slows my 0-100 by one fifteen thousandth of a second.
