Hey, does anybody know how to get badges off an EG. i've never had to it before so i have no idea. Cos the only way i can see is to lever them off and this seems a little dangerous.
Thanks for any help

i think this had been covered once before but any way get a hair dryer and heat the badge up so the glue becomes soft. While you still have the hair dryer over the badge get dental flose or something similar and scrap it off

^^third

help the glue along with Big Kevs Tar and Goo remover.... it's concentrated lemon citrus... it gets absorbed when the glue gets hot and it becomes softer... get it from Woolies

you refer to the front and rear H badges ?
Use a piece of tooth floss , and slowly lever it around the rear one. It should "pop" off with not much effort. REMEMBER there is 2 small lug holes left behind...you should fill them with rubber grommets or something.

if they are oem they should have some type of sticky foam on the back as well as a pin. just put it through the hole and push =)

but you can get some glue for badges at like supercheap or something that doesnt damage the paint =P ive used it on mine holds on pretty good.

If there is sticky stuff left on there, I found K & H Wax and Grease remover to work wonders. Safe on the paint too. Can buy it at Autobarn/supercheap etc

Let us know how you go

Has anyone removed the rear H for an FD2? Does it have pins or just stick on?
