After consulting the users manual for a lonnnng time, I decided it was pretty much useless.

I've removed the dust caps but can't unconnect the wires to the bulb. The manual hints at removing the holding wire, but I can't do so!
The manual says nothing about loosening the top screw, but I tried nevertheless. Didn't help because I couldn't undo the screw it was that tight (minimal space to work with too!)

What's the best plan of attack?

remove the power cord then push in the spring clip on the top left DO NOT UNSCREW THE SCREW SECURING THE CLIP with the clip un hinged you will be able to access the globe take note of the fuse position as you need to reposition the new globe in the same way

what you need to do is push the little hook tab thing (top left of picture).

then once that is pushed, u need to move it to the left, and unhook it frmo the tab. once that is loose, it should be free to move up and down on the hinge. just push the metal clip down, turn the bulb harness and it should come out.

Clip should be easy, the hard part is to remove the power cable from the bulb.... It took me quite some time to yank it off.... scartching my hands in the process.

push forward then you should be able to un hinge it toward you, be careful with too much pressure

Managed to figure out the clip. It's an aftermarket HID kit, and I want to put back the factory bulbs using the factory connection.

Here's a pic with the bulb out

Here's another picture I found on the forum, I suppose this is the original setup..

One end leads to what looks like the parkers, I assume this is still correct, but the other end joins to the HID connection using those white L shaped connectors. I'm assuming I should disconnect the L-shaped joint and hook it up like the second picture?

If you have an aftermarket HID kit, then the original connector for the headlights would be connected to the ballasts of the HID kit.

Refer to the edited post above with the pictures...

I'm assuming I should be plugging in where the second picture is circled. The red one plugs into the bulb fine, but I'm struggling to connect the black one into the assembly..
